The bible provides many wonderful instructions about leadership. It highlights men and women who have played a historical role in government.  One example is Nehemiah,  Governor of Canaan. He exhibited the leadership characteristics and qualities of adaptability and consciousness. He was concerned about the people and addressed the issue of hunger before the wall was completed.

Nehemiah was  a consciousness successful leader because of his preparation. The first thing he sought was instructions from God.  Based on God’s instructions, he was able to assess the wall and rebuild.   Imagine the turmoil if he was at loss of understanding God’s word.
